Senior Planning Enginner (UAE National)
Description
Develop and maintain a Work Breakdown Structure, which will provide foundation for defining the Work Packages and coding of the schedule activities.
• Develop Project Control System standards, tools and facilities using computerised software applications (P3 e/c and others) which may be used to build up an integrated central Projects Control System (Planning/Scheduling & Cost Control) database.
• Develop and maintain an updated Integrated Master Schedule for the Triangle and Circle.
• Develop and maintain ¡§sub- project¡¨ schedules (e.g. landscaping; centre of circle development) as may be required.
• Assist project stakeholders such as consultants and contractors to develop and update schedules as may be required.
• Identify and manage all interface and milestone activities on a schedule or schedules as may be required. Compare and report on progress against baseline schedules.
• Provide any required schedule information that is to be specifically managed.
• Communicate scheduling activities in the most affective manner, using Gantt charts, line of balance etc. At times scheduling information will be required to be displayed pictorially or diagrammatically (e.g. Landscaping). In these cases, liaise with draftsperson(s) as may be required to obtain the preferred outcome.
• Provide recommendations on corrective actions when performance or results deviate from the base plan.
• Assist in developing a standard progress reporting format as may be required.
• Assist with EOT claims management and analyses, in association with internal and external project team members.
• Provide technical support and advice for the use of scheduling software such as Primavera Project Planner.
• Provide technical support to the contracts department as may be required, for reviewing certain subjects related to Project Control. • Should have an (internal & externally) Customer Focus

B.Sc. City Planning / Urban Planning / Master planning (or similar qualification) with 5+ years in similar Planning/Scheduling role
